Men's Ministry
Mission Statement
The mission of the Men's Fellowship at NCCC is to provide men with the resources to develop a Godly character and help equip them to positively impact the world through Jesus Christ.
This is promoted by:
• Guiding them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Uniting them in Bible studies, prayer, ministry, fellowship, and accountability.
• Creating mentoring opportunities that lead to significant vital relationships.
• Becoming a magnet for service and a resource for other church ministries and missions.
• Providing a series of events that will promote fellowship, outreach, and evangelism.
An additional major focus of the NCCC Men's Fellowship is to render service to individuals in need. This includes individuals within our NCCC Family as well as inhabitants of the United Kingdom and globally. We put special emphasis on assisting the elderly, and on working with young males to help them grow into Godly productive men.
Meetings
Our regularly scheduled meetings are on the First Saturday of each month at 1:30 a.m. At this meeting we enjoy a wonderful breakfast and fellowship with each other. The men hear an inspirational message that helps us to grow spiritually, or a presentation that provides us with practical skills needed in our everyday lives. We also discuss activities and service projects on our agenda.
Activities
Our activities range from skills training, conferences, seminars, outreaches and the annual men's convention. We organise church picnics in summer; an event that promotes togetherness and is a way to reach out to the community. We also host the Annual Church Retreat which is an event that promotes togetherness and sharing of spiritual experiences in Christ.
